In 2019, as a result of investments in the plant for acceptance, transport and combustion of RDF-1st phase and obtaining the permit for waste management, use of significant quantities of RDF/SRF began. This enabled the growth of indicators of  energy substitution from fossile fuels to energy from alternative fuels from 16 % in 2018 to 27.2% in 2019.

2019 was marked by investments in new line for cement bagging which is characterized by minimizing scattering of cement during palletizing, loading and unloading and generally during product handling, which ensures cleaner working environment.

NEXE d.d.'s business operations will continue  in the same direction.  In 2020 activities aimed at increasing the share of alternative fuels by construction of plant for RDF dosing to a pre-calcinator continued.   Plans also include an RDF warehouse with the plant for reception and processing of alternative fuels, as well as a rotary kiln bypass project.  Current business indicators in first 9 months of 2020 show that  NEXE d.d. is on a good path to make this business year one of the most successful.
