CO₂NTESSA project applied to the Innovation Fund large-scale call

 
We are pleased to inform you that on 16 March 2023 the CO₂NTESSA project was applied to the Innovation Fund large-scale call. In this way the project can bring up to EUR 200 million of additional EU funds to the Republic of Croatia. The process of evaluating project proposals follows, and in the meantime, we at NEXE continue our dedicated work on the activities of the implementation of the CO₂NTESSA project, at this stage by working on further preparation of project documentation. The CO₂NTESSA project includes modification of clinker production process based on the Oxyfuel technology of the second generation in Našice cement plant, it represents the most economic long-term solution for complete removal of CO₂ emissions and will result in production of CO₂-neutral cement from 2029.
