Našice, 30 June 2020 – Today, new collective agreement was signed at cement factory NEXE d.d. – the biggest member of regional construction material producer Nexe Grupa – that increased worker's salaries and material rights. The agreement was signed by and between Trade union of construction industry of Croatia- Union branch Nexe d.d. represented by Marijan Baričević in capacity of union commissioner and the management of Nexe d.d. company represented by Stjepan Ergović in capacity of President of the Management Board.
Collective agreement becomes valid as of 1 July 2020 and will be in full force and effect for two years. This agreement increases the salary budget by 10% and non-taxable amount for occassional benefits. Therefore, Christmas bonus and holiday cash grant will now amount to HRK 3.000,00 instead of previous HRK 2.500,00.
By signing this agreement in moments of uncertainty regarding estimates of future movements in economy due to crisis impact caused by COVID-19 the intention of NEXE d.d. was to show that care for its employees and their rights was still at the top of priority list. Considering current business circumstances, special care about health protection of employees, quality social dialogue and employees satisfaction are prerequisites for successful accomplishment of business goals and overcoming all challenges. This was again confirmed by successfully finished social negotiating process between the union representatives and the employer.
