Concrete

Classic concrete

Classic concretes are are the most common concretes, and are used in civil engineering and building construction.

  • APPLICATION

    • construction of geotechnical structures (dams, tunnels, underground structures, foundations), bridges and viaducts, roads (roads, railways) and agricultural structures (drainage and irrigation systems) and water construction (regulation of watercourses, canals, water supply, sewerage, etc
    • construction of buildings and other single-storey or multi-storey buildings
  • DESCRIPTION

    • compressive strength class from C 8/10 to C 50-60
    • consistency class from S2 to S5
    • all concretes of consistency class from S3 to S5 can be installed with an auto-concrete pump
    • maximum grain of aggregate up to 8 mm, 16 mm and 32 mm
    • exposure class X0 (where there is no risk of corrosion), XC1 to XC4 (corrosion caused by carbonation), XD1 to XD3 (corrosion caused by non-marine chlorides)
