Ivan Gerovac, Member of the supervisory board

Ivan Gerovac was born on 8 July 1959 in Cerovnik near Ogulin where he finished elementary school and general grammar school. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb (according to the program of former Faculty of Foreign Trade). He earned his master's degree in economics at the University of Rijeka  and acquired the title of master of science.
He was continuously educated at numerous seminars and conferences  (World Bank, EBRD, domestic conferences), courses (Canadian Academy of Bankers, Belgium Academy of Bankers, Chicago Business School and other) and targeted educations (auditing, controlling, financial derivatives, securities…).
He spent his entire working life in banking at Privredna banka Zagreb d.d., but in very different fields of work- corporate lending, investment banking, foreign exchange operations, bank restructuring, treasury operations,  accounting and controlling.
For the last thirty years during his career he has held responsible management positions in the Bank- executive director, assistant general manager, person authorized to restructure the Bank and a member of the Board. He ended  his banking career as a member of the Board for work with large companies, foreign exchange operations and investment banking.
In addition to holding positions in Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. during last thirty years he has been a member of numerous supervisory boards in the field of industry, tourism and trade.
As of 1 January 2022, Ivan Gerovac was appointed a member of  the Supervisory Board of NEXE d.d.
